Ultraviolet.. She's the man.. Sentinel..

Ultraviolet sucks big time. Shame to the producers. How in the world can the movie turn into a big flop. The starting 5 minutes is the only part worth watching. CGI graphics definitely is out of the world, but the story line sucks, the dialogue sucks, the actors sucks, and basically, everything sucks!

She's the man, almost identical to "Bend it like Beckham", girls playing soccer, parents objecting, and fall in love with another soccer player. Just that Keira Knightley looks way way better than Amanda Bynes. It's good, especially when comparing it to Ultraviolet. It's not really funny though. Oh well, predictable storyline as soon as the movie starts.

Sentinel.. I don't know, I have this thing for espionage movie though. James Bond, MIssion Impossible, The Rock, Face Off, etc etc. It's a good movie. :D

Lying

What does fuel mean to you?

Global fuel prices surged to new highs! 30 cents increase is not really a big deal though.

Things we can do/buy with 30 cents today:-
1. A pack of Mamee crispy snacks.
2. A pack of Hacks (5 pcs) sweets.
3. 0.15625 litres of octane 97 grade petrol.
4. A small cup of "xut cha".
And so on....

So it's not really a big deal.... See?

My sister complaint that the water smells like shit. I heard it over in the radio this morning, certain areas in Selangor and KL are being affected. Weird the water in my washroom smells just fine... Maybe Syabas should have said,

"Only certain bathrooms are being affected because they dont't flush the toilet frequent enough"....

Jesslyn just became a witness to a hit and run accident, for a cat, that is. Actually, she was the culprit in that accident. If she didn't speed in the first place, the cat wouldn't have run so fast.. and because the cat ran so fast, the cat could not stop in time to avoid the oncoming traffic from the other side.....

And there.. poof.. another one bites the dust.

But too bad the almighty Ian doesn't see things that way. Jesslyn is innocent until proven guilty!

While we were queuing up for buying snacks at GSC yesterday..

I saw this small kid no more than 7 years old sitting in front of the popcorn window beside the counter.

So when I went to apply some ketchup over the nuggets, i was like "yo", and he said "hi", then i was like "come down from there", and he said "why?", then i was like "it's dangerous", then he said "it's not", then i was like "what's your name", then he said censored, then i was like "that's a nice name", then he said "my mom is back there"...

I took a look at his mom, she didn't seem to be too happy bout it. Oh well. :P

Leaving on a jet plane

I'm off to Stockholm on the 6th March.

Bought AIG travel insurance last week. Haven't received any policy from them yet.

And, I bought Prudential personal insurance, so, sorry about that, my dear Chuan Chuan. Say sorry to your Great Eastern as well.

Wanted to take KLM flights previously, but we heard that MAS is having some kind of promotion that cost us only 999 for a flight to Stockholm. So, we are looking for the cheapest cost that will take us there.

Guess they didn't notice that I can swim there too.

Anyway, we couldn't buy any tickets yet because my boss told me that, we might be there for 2 weeks, or even 2 months. Now we're waiting for confirmation from Swedish side.

I will miss someone there, you know who you are.

Hopefully, a colleague will be going with me.

And I'm a bit sceptical about the "warm" weather there.

Having some weirdo prob with Digi here. Maybe it's because of the influence from Mordor.. the Eye of Mordor...

So, I shot their service rep to complain about the service in Isengard..

"I am having full reception here on level 61 in KLCC but I just could not hear the other parties at all. It works fine on the ground floor. Is this a problem with Digi?"

As expected..

Facts on KLCC.

Just joined a tour of KLCC yesterday, a free one though.

Tower 1 is built by Japanese but tower 2 is built by Korean. The sky bridge is engineered by Korean.

Tower 1 is only having single tenant for each floor, but tower 2 is having multi-tenant for each floor.

Tower 1 has more floors than tower 2.

There's a sky lobby on each tower on level 40th.

Malaysian Petroleum Club at level 40, 41, and 42 on tower 2 is FREAKIN grand. Saw a girl busy playing the harp when I went inside. Everybody which I've passed by greeted me. Persian carpet surround by Pakistan's marbles. Magnificient view outside. Dress code: Lounge suit and batik only.

Went to visit the skybridge next. There's a transparent spot on the level 2 of the skybridge which when we stand in the middle, we can see the pinnacle of both towers. And shit, if you look closely, you can feel that the tower is moving! But anyway, the sky bridge is made to be able to move by at least 30 cm. During the earthquake last time, the skybridge actually moved by 3 cm oni.

Everybody went for early lunch today. Oh well, I prefer having late lunch :)

Need to go to Lowyat to shop for some hardwares for company by this week. Will be getting a Ipaq by this week too. I'll be online in MSN as long as there's Wifi.

It was so congested on the road this morning, reached office at around 9 am. Gee, I miss those days when I was working in PJ, no traffic at all, can reach in around 20 minutes.

Feel like taking the train next time, save the hassle of falling asleep when driving.

Anyway, have to adapt to new changes all the time. Theory of evolution eh.

The boss got us 5 Ikea rubbish bins today.

It's more and more like an Ikea showroom instead of an office.

Went to a marketplace this morning.

Tastebud missing!

Scalded my tongue since last Thursday, I think I'm eating the same thing everyday. Tasteless. I check my tongue through the mirror, seems mighty fine. But it feels like something is missing. Curry fish head stole my tastebud away! Come back here, you thief!

Two weeks ago, a guy from China arrived at my workplace to work. It's the second time he's here, so, he got everything settled down kinda quick. I like the way they speak Mandarin, way cool, but I just can't seem to pick up their way of speaking it.

A lot of people are having flu nowadays. Looks like most of them gonna celebrate Chinese New Year with running nose and sore throat. I don't really fancy local flu, so, I sat really close to this China guy and hoping to catch some China flu. And there, I got it!

Is it really good to ask someone to leave immediately as soon as they have expressed their desire to leave the job? I dont know. But isn't it important to get the job wrapped up, even if it's impossible, to get it passed on to the next person, or even document things down so it can be resumed easier and faster next time.

Curry dreams..

I woke up with a mild sore throat and terrible dehydrated feeling. I didn't know that curry is that powerful. It wasn't spicy, it was just.. kinda hot. Nearly scalded my tongue. My tongue still has that numb feeling as of now.

The curry is thick, yeah, more like a broth. And taste is superb! Too bad, guys, it is not our day. Suffered we have, punished we were, still we could not fulfill the purpose of eating the curry fish head. When are we going again? :P Nah, we don't have to plan ahead for eating, you doink.

Just a bowl of feeble fish head curry. What harm can it do?

Had some terrible dreams last night too. I did remember it just now before I started my journey to work, but I have forgotten it by now. Dreams with weird logic, with lots of participant too.

Nature of universe..

The more we're afraid of losing something, the sooner we will lose that something.

10 reasons to stay out of scout movement activities.

1) Prepare to spend more money. I got my shorts ripped in that male dominated society.
- It was made of half nylon half fabric.. can you imagine that?
- Guess, can't expect too much from Fajar's stuff. :D

2) We get ourself injured most of the time. I got my thumbs chopped off. Just the tip of it. I don't think it's that serious, but the doctor took 4 hours to mend it up. It's cute looking at my sutured thumb.
- I have to stopped my piano lesson for 1 month.
- I have to stop my chinese calligraphy session for 1 month.
- I can't ride bicycle for 1 month.
- Effectively shut me out from basketball and soccer for 1 month.
- I have to stop my painting session for 1 month.
- I can't swim for 1 month!

3) Most of us look like roasted pork after joining it because, they just love to hold outdoor activities after 11 am. Extremely rigorous events after 2pm.
- How bad was it? My mom could't even recognize me once when I reached home at 11 pm night time.

4) I was having loose bowel everytime we went for camping trip. Maybe it's true that guys can't cook.
- And oh, I was helping out in the kitchen most of the time.
- Hey, I remember cleaning the fish bowels using high pressure water pump.

5) We scouts will never get the top spot in academic performance, all the time. No matter how hard we try.
- I dont know, maybe it's a curse.
- Or we are just downright lazy.

6) Most scouts members are really weak in chinese subject. Especially writing essays.
- I don't remember anyone getting A's for SPM.
- Me? Psst, my dad nearly killed me.

7) We like to invade others compound to steal stuffs.
- Bamboos, banana leaves, that is.
- Occasionally, watermelons, bananas.. :D

8) We will become nerd-like because the strict rules imposed in this kind of society.
- The nerd of all nerds, that's me, was the first to actually get a girlfriend.
- The rest.. ahem.. please accept my condolences. :D

9) We get to be friends with leeches, and all sort of bugs, snakes, sometimes, cats.
- I dont know why do these animals are interested to jump into the midst of all male dominated society.
- Maybe it's the smell.. you know.. the smell of nature. :D

10) We can't blog well.
- Well, I don't see any other blogs getting interesting.
- Guess it's a social defect eh.

After all has been said and done..
I'm still grateful to my parents because..
If they have never forced me in the first place..
Who knows what I might have become now....
