KLCC - Episode 2

I was in KLCC again today!

Went to Micasa to pick up something, but ended up having a smoke there with another of their executives.

Lost track of time as we chatted away and I realized that I'm almost late.

Took Lorong Kuda straight into KLCC Parking and ran to the information counter.

Registered myself and...

Took the wrong escalator as I was heading up. Nearly stumbled over myself as I turned back to see the guards are chuckling. Oh well.

Got everything scanned, including a laptop and there I was again on the 40th level.

Everything.. is cool. :) But tiring.

Micasa, KLCC, Olympia.

I knew it..

I shouldn't be that greedy. Argh, a stupid mistake. Wondering what sort of punishment awaits me..

I'm all sticky and I think I'll need a bath.

Oh ya, just been to Lemon Garden for a buffet and their green tea ice cream rox!!!!!!! Wondering do they ever run out of that before..

Road trip

Almost.. almost.. half of Klang valley today.

Went to Shah Alam in the morning to present my program (pre-sales demo). Tadaaaa. Still need to patch it up. Then they treated me to a lunch in Bukit Raja Jusco! It was packed there. I saw a malay guy slipped on a puddle of water, well, a feeling of dejavu washed over me.

After that, I left my sister's car in the workshop and went down to Cheras with friends to have a cup of tea.

Phew. Finally, got everything done, and party for tonight!

Et cetera...

One of my close friends just had a minor accident last week on MRR. Well, nowadays he ends up driving small white kancil instead of the red coloured monster he used to drive all the time.

A few days ago, I went to Carrefour (Wait.. do we pronounce it as "Car-re-four"? Or just plain "Carrefour"? I think I shall call it "Car-re-four" from now on, and to those who have no idea what it is, it sounds like "kar-ri-for" in Malay, idiot) to find some grocery stuffs. After I was done with all the stuff, we took a really big round to get back to the parking lot. It wasn't that packed, but it's quite impossible to walk in a straight line without bumping into people.

There was this puddle of water on the floor, and they have put a yellow colour signboard there, saying something like, "Beware, slippery floor". You know me, I won't notice those things until I bumped into them. So when I stepped my left foot into the puddle, it was really slippery alright. My left foot was like sliding for a distance of half a metre, drawing sounds like "ooooiyooo" from an aunty just walking beside me. I thought I was going to fall, my eyes darting from left to right searching for things to hold, my friend was standing too far away, nothing for me to cling on! ..... but fortunately, my right foot is still firmly standing on the safe ground. So, phew, I got through that. Lucky! Or else I could have been entertainment for those patrons of Carrefour.

Went to Uptown "hokkien noodles" yesterday night. It's huge! Well, definitely it's bigger than those being served on all other tables. When I ordered it, the waiter thought that I was ordering for one person, so when I told him it's for three person, his eyes become wide! Well, since we have only 2 person there during the first 30 minutes, we were eating like there's no tomorrow. Fuh. I think I'm not going to think of any hokkien noodles til the end of this month.

40th floor of KLCC.

Yes, it is a magnificient view of KL from there. I can see the skybridge!

The security, is impressive!

As I have expected, the entrance is near the orchestra hall.

We have to register ourself at the information counter, especially which company we are visiting because they will call the company to confirm our presence.

We have to took out whatever metal objects we have in our pockets and get it scanned through the machine. My bags too.

It was a freaking fast lift to the 40th floor of KLCC. I nearly got deaf from that.

In the end, it's more like a casual talk than an interview. We spent like 1 hour sitting in the couch and yak away.

Oh well. It's a nice experience, I must say.

I hate myself.

Argh. Fuck.

I'm looking for something that I've lost a long time ago, but I don't know what it is. Every night I have the same dream, over and over again. Will it be something in the future which I am about to encounter? Was it something in the past which I've forgotten? Or perhaps it's something that is happening now and it wants me to find out.

Could not sleep well. Waking up every now and then. Could it be my end has finally come?

Stuck!

Craps. I was helping another car to pass through the TouchNGo lane and I got stuck myself. This is really crappy service. We cannot touch it 2 times in a row? I'm gonna fry their customer service dept tomorrow.

Harry Potter! Well, still I don't really fancy this kind of movies. But I went to watch it nonetheless. It wasn't that packed, but I had a good time. Tiring though, drove all the way from Subang to KLCC. Hopefully it's not congested.

Big day tomorrow. Tonnes of work in Olympia and tonnes of work on the new MLM scheme. That's it. I'm getting out of here.

Damn this company.

*Update: Called up their customer service dept. So, we can only use it once in 30 minutes time. So mean. And this is plain stupid.

I had a meeting last weekend in the office last Saturday. It was suppose to be a short meeting, but in the end, the boss got carried away when too many people were praising him, and the meeting lasted for a few hours, oh well, I've lost count of the time. The closer I get to my boss, the more weakness I spotted in him. Who knows, if we sum up everything, he might even be dumber than all his workers. I don't mind if he's pretending to be smart, but when we pretend to be smart, we better make sure that we put up a good performance. He was the first to reach the office, but he didn't prepare anything to host a meeting. After a few weeks of having meetings on weekends, and looking at the way he's handling things, I've given up all hope on him.

Do you know that all TM Net hotspots is currently handled by Aptilo Networks, a Swedish company?

Friday evening.

Sometimes I do wonder whether computer is smarter than us. *wink*

Guess Thunderbird won't even give M.D. a shit. Mozilla is so mean. But I love this stuff.

This is one more reason why we should use Mozilla. Get rid of that outlook already.

Ooops

Hostile takeover detected on radar. Red alert for SBB.

Two days after walking to a pole, my face still hurts. I swear I could feel my head has gone out of shape. Probably that's the cause of insomnia these days. Looking at those people taking SPM this year, man, I feel like I'm so old.

To wait.. not to wait.. to wait.. not to wait.. Conflicting thoughts.

Spewing forth a breath of fire. Harry Potter! Everyone is getting ready for tomorrow's big screening. Hermione!

On the other hand, somebody stood me up today. Great. At least I get to go back earlier. A bit disappointed, but that's life~

Lesson for today - There are only two families in the world, as my grandmother used to say: the haves and the have-nots.
