Life is too short to be moody, because when we are moody, we get mad easily.
Life is too short to be angry, when we are angry, there's no productivity.
Even if there's productivity, it's productivity without producing anything useful.

Looking back in time

I haven't really been spending enough time with him.

When I was in secondary school, he wanted to send me to school but I insisted to cycle to school myself. After school, he wanted to send me to tuition but I insisted to let my friend fetched me. He wanted me to attend piano lessons but sometimes I skipped them. He wanted me to learn calligraphy but I decided to stop halfway. He wanted me to learn drawing but I told him that I have no more time for this kind of classes.

When my sister was still in secondary school, we always go up to Ipoh once a fortnight to visit the Tun Razak library for story books. When my sister was in college, we always come up to KL for one day trip - to shop for computer parts that I want.

I wanted him to live a relaxing life after his retirement but he knew that he would have to work even after retirement because there's no way he can support the family by just living on pension.

I know he always wanted the best for us, but it's just that sometimes we don't know how to appreciate it. I haven't had the chance to thank him yet. But he just left like that.

It's funny that I haven't shed a drop of tears for him back then but now the tears are swelling in my eyes whenever I think of him.

I know it's over a long time ago but.. there are just so many things that I wanted to talk to him.

I just need to rest for a while.

Crazy schedule on Monday

Would have to work until 12 midnight.

That's actually nothing.

I have tried not sleeping for 2 days straight, and on the third day, everything feels numb. Food is tasteless and nothing can make me excited anymore.

Dumb keyboard! Lesson learnt today, we should never buy wireless keyboard for gaming.

Some people can work for their whole life, even after a few generations of family, they still could not accumulate 2 million bucks.

Concept of time is funny

The customer said he will be back in 30 minutes but it's already 1 hour and we don't see him around.

The person suppose to come for interview today but he did not make it and only called us AFTER the interview time - And he made me skip my lunch

Sometimes the interview is scheduled at 10 am but they can arrive at the office at 9 am.

Sometimes customer can call you from the other side of earth without realizing there is a huge time difference between you and him.

Having fever is fun

Under a hot sun, you can walk for miles before starting to sweat.
You just can't sleep at night no matter how hard you try.
You won't feel hungry even a day without foot.
You just don't care about what's around you until it's too late.
You won't feel pain even when your hand is bleeding.
You feel thirsty all the time.
You can drink 10 cups of water without going to pee.
You can speak Cantonese, Hokkien and Mandarin in one sentence.

You feel that your body is lighter now...

Tricks or treat?

Next week there will be 2 shortlist candidates coming for the final assessment. I would need to prepare a simple test for them. And we will pick the final candidate based on the test result.

Here's what I can think of, instead of let them use the Windows that they are familiar with, I'm going to boot them into Linux and let it run off Knoppix. I'll give them a 10 minutes crash course with our system and give them a chance to ask questions for 10 minutes, and finally let them fix the things in 10 minutes.

Been spending a lot of NPE nowadays as I went down to Subang twice last week. Somehow the car fuel consumption is not that high compare to new cars, I have estimated it wrongly. Well, time to do new homework again. The secret project!

Game over

The kitten is dead. Somehow he was not breathing when we found him, with his front leg possibly broken already. Poor thing. Just minutes ago, we saw him still in his usual self. Lazying around and asking for food all the time.

Life is cruel.
To be born into this world itself is cruel.
All living things shall die one day.
Time waits for no one.
Why should we be sad when we understand this?

I'm a boring person

Well, I spend my times regarding Harvard e-Articles and Kiyosaki's.
Occasionally business reviews and Forbes.
Wikipedia is my closest friend, when I have nothing to do, I can spend my time looking up random words and each random article lead to new article.
I can't survive without Internet.
Without a PC is even worse.
