Unexpected

It's a surprise to receive a call at 12.30 am in the morning.

It's even more surprising when it's from someone unexpected.

Still ever so talkative.

I'm dead tired.. Some EPL highlights and primaera liga and serie A highlights before dawn, and watched miami heats vs phoenix suns in the morning...

Cendol..

Went to a marketplace this morning.

It's a routine before I started my work.

The cendol guy slept late, I believe.

His favourite spot was occupied by some vehicle.

But he set up his stall anyway.

But the police shooed him away, because he was obstructing the traffic.

Poor guy.

I don't understand, it's a bliss for someone.

On soccer..

A ball that is a wild shot on goal, if it hits the post, do we consider that lucky? Or we call that unlucky? It's not like it's easy to hit the post, you know, but a shot with intention of getting a goal is always considered unlucky if it hits the post.

I hit the post 8 times in a single match.

Anyway, whatever happens, life goes on.

Tastebud missing!

Scalded my tongue since last Thursday, I think I'm eating the same thing everyday. Tasteless. I check my tongue through the mirror, seems mighty fine. But it feels like something is missing. Curry fish head stole my tastebud away! Come back here, you thief!

Two weeks ago, a guy from China arrived at my workplace to work. It's the second time he's here, so, he got everything settled down kinda quick. I like the way they speak Mandarin, way cool, but I just can't seem to pick up their way of speaking it.

A lot of people are having flu nowadays. Looks like most of them gonna celebrate Chinese New Year with running nose and sore throat. I don't really fancy local flu, so, I sat really close to this China guy and hoping to catch some China flu. And there, I got it!

Microsoft granted me 5 invitations on Wednesday. I sent all of them out.

Yesterday, they gave me another 5 invitations. I sent all of them out too.

Work work work. It's just a brand new environment everyday.

Is it really good to ask someone to leave immediately as soon as they have expressed their desire to leave the job? I dont know. But isn't it important to get the job wrapped up, even if it's impossible, to get it passed on to the next person, or even document things down so it can be resumed easier and faster next time.

I don't get it. WHY?

Curry dreams..

I woke up with a mild sore throat and terrible dehydrated feeling. I didn't know that curry is that powerful. It wasn't spicy, it was just.. kinda hot. Nearly scalded my tongue. My tongue still has that numb feeling as of now.

The curry is thick, yeah, more like a broth. And taste is superb! Too bad, guys, it is not our day. Suffered we have, punished we were, still we could not fulfill the purpose of eating the curry fish head. When are we going again? :P Nah, we don't have to plan ahead for eating, you doink.

Just a bowl of feeble fish head curry. What harm can it do?

Had some terrible dreams last night too. I did remember it just now before I started my journey to work, but I have forgotten it by now. Dreams with weird logic, with lots of participant too.

Oh ya, I'm sorry that I slept on you again, dear. :x

Guess I have to thank May for teaching me that.

Ah, need to go to UOB later at night to pay up for her credit card. Or maybe I'll just do it tomorrow morning.

Nature of universe..

The more we're afraid of losing something, the sooner we will lose that something.
The more we expect something to happen, the less chances that the thing will happen.
The faster we want to forget something, the harder it is to forget that thing.
The more we want to memorize something, the tougher it is to get that into our brain.
The better we treat people out there, the more they will take advantage of us.

10 reasons to stay out of scout movement activities.

1) Prepare to spend more money. I got my shorts ripped in that male dominated society.
- It was made of half nylon half fabric.. can you imagine that?
- Guess, can't expect too much from Fajar's stuff. :D

2) We get ourself injured most of the time. I got my thumbs chopped off. Just the tip of it. I don't think it's that serious, but the doctor took 4 hours to mend it up. It's cute looking at my sutured thumb.
- I have to stopped my piano lesson for 1 month.
- I have to stop my chinese calligraphy session for 1 month.
- I can't ride bicycle for 1 month.
- Effectively shut me out from basketball and soccer for 1 month.
- I have to stop my painting session for 1 month.
- I can't swim for 1 month!

3) Most of us look like roasted pork after joining it because, they just love to hold outdoor activities after 11 am. Extremely rigorous events after 2pm.
- How bad was it? My mom could't even recognize me once when I reached home at 11 pm night time.

4) I was having loose bowel everytime we went for camping trip. Maybe it's true that guys can't cook.
- And oh, I was helping out in the kitchen most of the time.
- Hey, I remember cleaning the fish bowels using high pressure water pump.

5) We scouts will never get the top spot in academic performance, all the time. No matter how hard we try.
- I dont know, maybe it's a curse.
- Or we are just downright lazy.

6) Most scouts members are really weak in chinese subject. Especially writing essays.
- I don't remember anyone getting A's for SPM.
- Me? Psst, my dad nearly killed me.

7) We like to invade others compound to steal stuffs.
- Bamboos, banana leaves, that is.
- Occasionally, watermelons, bananas.. :D

8) We will become nerd-like because the strict rules imposed in this kind of society.
- The nerd of all nerds, that's me, was the first to actually get a girlfriend.
- The rest.. ahem.. please accept my condolences. :D

9) We get to be friends with leeches, and all sort of bugs, snakes, sometimes, cats.
- I dont know why do these animals are interested to jump into the midst of all male dominated society.
- Maybe it's the smell.. you know.. the smell of nature. :D

10) We can't blog well.
- Well, I don't see any other blogs getting interesting.
- Guess it's a social defect eh.

After all has been said and done..
I'm still grateful to my parents because..
If they have never forced me in the first place..
Who knows what I might have become now....
