Guiding the new guy

I believe I can fly...

Good morning everyone! Yawn.. I'm so sleepy. I have to admit that, I am a spent force in this company. No way I can work for them anymore more. As soon as this project is done, they won't be seeing me anymore.

The management hired a new foreigner to work, well, basically, they just signed him up and gave him some work to do. For these few weeks, the management seems like sitting back and waiting for result. I am wondering, is it the responsibility of me? my colleagues? or the management to take care of this 36 years old baby.

Last week, I was busy trying to find a place to stay for this baby. For the first few days, I drove him to a few places, and helped him to call up owners and even slipped out of the office to meet up with the owners. I thought he would learn from that. He IS a 36 years old guy anyway. So, last Friday, I was quite frustrated because of the incoming calls from customer, absurd requests, and some dumb comments from management, I did a simple search on google and produced a list of those properties to be rented around this area. I just gave that baby that list and I told him to go ahead to call them up.

He just looked at me with water filled eyes.. I stared back at hime and I almost screamed at him to get moving, but he quickly got back to his work and put that few sheets of paper aside. Argh! It's already Friday and nobody's going to work on weekends! He was trying to look for a house, not me. Gee, I'm afraid that I cannot take care of him any further.

36 years old and still behaving like that... puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez...
